Onze opdrachtgever in Amsterdam is op zoek naar een Mobile Software engineer die React Native ervaring heeft. De opdrachtgever werkt voornamelijk in het Engels, dus nu spreek ik je in het Nederlands aan, maar Engels is de voertaal binnen het bedrijf, omdat zij internationaal opereren. Het is een jong bedrijf met grote ambities.
Zij zijn op zoek naar een volwassen persoonlijkheid. Onze opdrachtgever komt tot dusver vooral kandidaten tegen die veelal te weinig echte ervaring (lopen al vast als je wil weten hoe ze een loop efficiënt zouden opzetten) en zijn vaak te veel “Full StackExhange developers” van de copy/paste generatie zonder te begrijpen wat een onderliggende uitdaging/probleem is.
Onze opdrachtgever staat ook open voor junior ontwikkelaars, die kunnen aantonen dat ze in staat zijn goed oplossingen uit te denken en dit om te zetten in gestructureerde oplossingen in code.

You will have
- A degree in computer science, software engineering or comparable experience
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with a passion for technology, obviously 😉
- Experience with Javascript, Typescript, ES6, React Native, Redux/Saga/Toolkit, Jest to name a few
- Experience with Android/Kotlin and/or Swift is a plus
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Fastlane and other tools of the trade.
- Fluency in English, with excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
- Drive of a self-starter who can work independently, as well as being part of the team
- Tolerance towards ambiguity and uncertainty as nothing is set in stone
- Own opinions and willingness to voice these, while be open for opinions of others.Functie-eisen
You hopefully also have
- A broad interest in technology, not confined to mobile only
- Working knowledge of networking and Wi-Fi
- Working understanding of common network protocols (TCP, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience with working in agile teams
